Будучи щенком, Бурбон был схож с другими собачьими, пока его не похитили ученые, чтобы тот с помощью своего природного животного чутья и людского разума мог определять прячущуюся в темных уголках мира призрачную нечисть и координировать людей с точностью до минуты, ведь только звери могут видеть потустороннее.
