The international student HSE CREATIVE OPEN online competition on the basis of HSE ART AND DESIGN SCHOOL

The goal of the competition is to gather original ideas and spectacular projects in all areas of design, contemporary art and fashion on one platform and to gain the attention of the creative community to the development of jobs in the industry.

Students from any university, regardless of the location they are based at, can participate in the competition.

About the nomination

Video games are a very modern, especially powerful way for people to communicate. Gamers today don’t just play for fun, just like book readers and movie watchers in the past didn’t just want to be entertained. As technology improves and audiences demand more, the extreme importance of game art and visuals in communicating through video games becomes clear.

Modern video games now cover a wider range of genres beyond fantasy and science fiction. Game art is no longer limited to traditional themes such as princesses or battle robots. The competition welcomes all visual styles but is especially interested in unique, innovative ideas, no matter which sphere of traditional art they may resonate with.

We are looking for projects capable of solving the main tasks that visual content in the interactive format of video games solves: making a captivating impression, setting the scene of the game as well as showing the events of the game as spectacularly as possible are invited for participation in the Game Art Competiton.
