VK 9.0 is an ambassador program that brings together active students from various universities and cities. Participants become part of a community, meet new people, create content, develop their own skills, and promote the opportunities offered by VK.
I feel like I just enrolled at HSE, and I’ve already decided that my studies alone aren’t enough.
I wanted to try new things, meet people, participate in interesting projects, and not limit my student life to just lectures and deadlines.

After the selection process, I traveled to Moscow to meet the ambassadors.
It was only one day, but what a day!
I was about to meet the program, its participants, and a completely new environment for me.
Being among the students who also wanted to try something new was particularly fascinating.
During the gathering, we met each other, learned more about the upcoming activities, and took part in our first joint events.

Before submitting my application, I chose the Content track—it resonates with me particularly strongly as a design student.
I don’t just enjoy creating beautiful visuals; I love conceptualizing ideas, finding engaging ways to present them, and considering how visual solutions help communicate with an audience.
Therefore, the opportunity to try myself out in a community where this focus is valued was especially exciting.
Perhaps one of the most enjoyable parts of this trip has been making new connections.
Even though we met for the first time, the atmosphere was incredibly friendly. We talked, took pictures, shared our impressions, and simply had a great time.
It’s especially rewarding to realize that I now have acquaintances from various universities, even though the selection process was limited to students from Moscow State and St. Petersburg universities.
The video concept and its execution were entirely my own.
This trip was my first introduction to the VK ambassadorship program.
I had the opportunity to learn about the program from the inside, meet other participants, and experience teamwork.
But most importantly—I confirmed that I want to continue developing in this field.
There is still so much ahead: new tasks, creative ideas, networking, and the chance to apply my design skills to real projects.
My story with VK is just beginning.
I don’t know how many new connections, interesting challenges, and unexpected opportunities await me, but I am already very glad that I once decided to simply submit an application.
Sometimes, something big starts with such a small decision.
