Project Description
This project is a sound design document for the re-voicing of a selected segment of the game Silent Hill Townfall. It defines the sonic concept, the necessary assets, and the principles for their implementation.

Game Overview
Simon Ordell finds himself on St. Amelia Island off the coast of Scotland. The player explores a foggy town, solves puzzles, and confronts adversaries, choosing between combat, evasion, and stealth. The CRTV—a portable television receiver—plays a crucial role, helping to detect threats and tune into broadcasts connected to the history and exploration.
Sonic Concept
The sound concept is built around creating a realistic and spatially convincing environment where familiar sonic patterns are gradually disrupted. Each location possesses its own acoustics, and as the tension builds, familiar sounds begin to transform into unnatural resonances, drones, and anxious textures. Special attention is paid to the contrast between silence and abrupt events: when a threat emerges, secondary sound layers recede, focusing attention on vital signals and the opponents' actions.
