The project focuses on exploring various approaches to painting on porcelain and ceramic. The works reflect diverse cultural traditions and artistic sources. The use of different materials, techniques, and themes allowed for the creation of a series of pieces that demonstrate the diverse expressive capabilities of ceramic art.
Peruvian chalice in sgraffito technique

The inspiration for the painting comes from traditional Peruvian ornaments and the famous monkey geoglyph on the Nazca Plateau. In this piece, I aimed to reinterpret ancient graphic motifs while preserving their conciseness and decorative quality.

Underglaze painting in the Renaissance style
The first plate features a stork accented with my initials. In the composition, I aimed to evoke the character of Renaissance decorative ceramics by combining a pictorial subject with ornamental detailing. The rim of the plate is decorated with a pattern inspired by traditional Venetian paintings.

The second plate features the Latin phrase «Raro tam bene accidit» («Such good things happen rarely») and an image of a horse. As with the first piece, the central subject is complemented by a border ornamentation based on the decorative motifs of Renaissance Venetian ceramics.

Overglaze painting in the style of Soviet agitprop porcelain
The narrative of the plate is built around the phrase «All Cossacks are Cossacks, ” which combines a reference to Soviet propaganda slogans with a play on words. The work is inspired by my Cossack roots and reinterprets the aesthetic of agitprop porcelain through a personal story. The color focus is on turquoise Cossacks.
Glaze Experiment
My latest freestyle piece was an experiment in the plasticity of form and the expressive potential of glaze.
