The work addresses the theme of losing control through the alteration of a bicycle handlebar’s structure. The branching of one of the grips creates a situation where the single line of control fragments into multiple directions. This form translates the principle of a diverging path onto the handlebar itself. While steering is necessary to dictate the direction of movement, the asymmetry of the grips disrupts the conventional principle of its operation, transforming motion into an ungovernable process.
