Idea
Three candle holders of varying heights, assembled on a table into a single composition. The forms are inspired by objects we like to place near candles: a stalk of grain, a pear, and a folded piece of fabric.
Dark, terracotta, and milky white echo the YALU palette. The set works as a cohesive unit, though each piece can also be displayed individually as an accent.
Construction and dimensions
Cereal Holder. A tall conical stand featuring eight vertically ribbed sections, manually carved. The base is internally weighted for stability, and a brass sleeve is inserted into the upper socket.
Pear. A rounded body with a narrow neck and a flared lip. Inside, there is a basin designed for a taper candle; the wall thickness is 6–7 mm.
Pleat. A low, wide cup with a wavy rim created by nine pleats, resembling draped tablecloth fabric. The wall thickness is 8 mm.
