The stacking ring toy is one of the earliest representations of an ordered world: rings are stacked by size, and the play teaches the child to assemble the correct sequence.

In this work, the familiar form is retained, but it is stripped of safety: the pyramid’s axis is extremely sharp, and instead of colored rings, heavy tires are strung onto it. A recognizable childhood object transforms into a construction that cannot be assembled without violating its form. The sharp verticality converts a harmless toy into an object of tension and risk.
