Concept
The hip-hop artist, Alex — MC Lepyha, constantly stirs up controversial topics, gets involved in questionable adventures, and somehow always manages to come out unscathed. His life is an endless sequence of random encounters, murky schemes, criminal stories, and adventures—most of which he creates for himself. He is neither a villain nor a gangster, just a guy who finds a quiet life boring.Even releasing this album is a kind of adventure. Every song here is a separate episode from his wild life.
The artist is just beginning his musical journey, experimenting as a performer and exploring sound. In this composition, he takes his first steps, attempting to create a simple, sincere, and slightly inspiring song. There are no grand statements or complex concepts yet—just a desire to try something new and see what emerges.
«The Last Quiet Evening”—a story about a carefree gathering with friends, cold beer, shashlik, and conversations about everything under the sun. The protagonist enjoys the simple joys of life, unaware that soon these peaceful get-togethers will give way to a series of dubious adventures and unexpected troubles. For now, everything is fine: friends are nearby, music is playing, and it feels like this will last forever. But the song’s title hints at something more—this is the last quiet evening before the real adventures begin.
«Don Quixote» is a song in which the protagonist reveals his restless nature. He works hard, strives to act with integrity, and helps those around him, yet he is utterly incapable of living a quiet life. Even when everything is going well, he will inevitably find a problem, an injustice, or another battle into which he must involve himself. Like a modern-day Don Quixote, he endlessly battles his own windmills—often creating them himself. This composition serves as a unique introduction to the hero’s philosophy: he doesn’t intentionally seek trouble; it simply seems that trouble always finds him wherever he goes.
«Caught again”—a story about how the protagonist’s habit of getting drawn into dubious adventures finally leads him to serious consequences. Another scheme goes off track, and instead of easy money and a glamorous life, he finds himself in the middle of a nocturnal forest, on his knees, under the sights of bandits. It seems impossible to escape this time, yet even in such a situation, the protagonist remains composed and tries to pull off one last trick. This darkly humorous song illustrates the results of his insatiable appetite for adventure, leaving the central question: did he truly get lucky again, or has he merely postponed the next disaster?
