Hugs

Hugs—a modular lamp inspired by the feeling of a human embrace. Two independent forms create soft ambient lighting. The project transforms a common interior object into a symbol of closeness, comfort, and the warmth that arises between people.

The lamp’s form is inspired by human embraces. Two asymmetric objects with smooth, organic curves complement each other, forming a unified composition when joined. The soft lines convey a sense of warmth and closeness, while the orange glow that emerges between the forms symbolizes their interaction.
