GLUBOKO is a journey across uncharted marine expanses, a deep dive into underwater worlds, and a striving toward the sun itself. Sailing through placid rivers, passing through the sea, and pushing off from the seabed, we emerge at the edge of the world.
Entrance Zone
Entrance Area — immersing visitors in the atmosphere of maritime history, creating a cozy space for conversation.
All shelves are covered with a white mesh, through which sinks of various sizes, colored bottles, and marine curiosities are visible.
On the right, there are modular structures with nets, upon which paper boats featuring poems from the event are displayed. Each visitor is welcome to take a boat as a memento.
Additionally, a code scope is located on the bar counter, projecting images of various shells and stones onto the modular structures, creating a mysterious atmosphere.
Sails
In working on the horizontally and vertically hanging sails, choosing the fabric became an important task. We utilized our existing inventory and selected a white lining fabric. Its plasticity is sufficient to convey the airiness and lightness of the material.
Little Ship
The little boat rose up through the audience and then slowly descended toward the musicians.
We faced a non-trivial task: we needed to develop a suitable mechanism to make the boat move.
Metal cables and pins proved to be the optimal solution for the jewelry pieces. The pins were installed on the sides of the boat, acting as guides that allowed the boat to remain stable and move within the space.
The entire apparatus was launched using a fishing line with a hook, which was attached to the sail’s mast.
Jellyfish
Jellyfish—one of the most striking details of the event. They unexpectedly descend from above and sway their tentacles.
The entire team worked on creating them; everyone contributed something unique. The main goal was to vary their size and color to maintain balance within the space.
Another crucial detail was mounting the garlands onto the jellyfish. Their glowing tentacles in the dark hall create a sense of magic and elegance.
