Prose of Life is an exhibition devoted to the work of Dutch documentary photographers. It tells about the course of life, its routine and patterns. Photos are divided into four sections: imitation, identity, commitment and heritage. To show the continuity of the flow of life, Japanese folding is used.

The size of the photos fluctuates — they grow larger with each page. Photo captions are inside the pages. On double-page spreads, contemporary documentary photographs clash with 17th-century pictures to convey the idea of the stability of human life from century to century.
