Collection «New Old Khokhloma»

The new collection of the SERGEY SYSOEV brand for the fall-winter 2025/26 season celebrates the mystery of the ancient craft of processing and painting wood. The texture of the basic material of the collection — felt — reveals the dryness of linden wood, from which Khokhloma craft products are created. Sculptural roses — a favorite accessory of the fashion house, used both in the decor of images and in home design — appeal to the turning talents of folk craftsmen who are able to give wood any unique shape. The color scheme of the collection is maintained in calm, quiet tones, reminiscent of those that appeared in handicrafts created by the hands of residents of the surrounding villages of the village of Khokhloma. Such products — simple, organic to the soulful Russian nature, without a hint of excessive luxury — inspired the ideologist of Khokhloma painting Georgy Petrovich Matveyev — a collector and founder of the museum of handicrafts and art products in the city of Semenov (1934).
