About the competition

The works in this category aim to showcase a contemporary spectrum of visual communication employed by museums, theaters, exhibition venues, and festivals to engage their audiences.Working with cultural institutions provides designers with a broader creative range than projects centered on corporate branding and visual communication for products. Designing for cultural institutions frequently serves as a platform for experimenting with unconventional and impactful graphic concepts.

Creating a visual style for cultural institutions and events requires the designer to choose specific graphic designs and a style that matches current trends and the tastes of a discerning audience.

Requirements

The competition welcomes projects designed for actual or fictional cultural establishments, encompassing identity designs for museums, theaters, festivals, and exhibition venues, as well as poster series and the creation of visual themes for music or theater festivals. Entrants are encouraged to present robust and innovative conceptual designs that consider the essence of the institution/event and are executed at a high level of both conceptual and technical proficiency.

Prospective participants are encouraged to review the methodological recommendations specific to each nomination category before entering the competition.
