CAVE is an architectural bureau for Stone Age dwellers, Neanderthals. The company is engaged in the development of residential (and not only) buildings made of stone, sand and other natural materials. This is an attempt to combine primitive architectural forms and modern techniques. In ancient times, the architecture was primitive and met only minimal requirements. The bureau offers a new way of relating to buildings and premises during the Stone Age.
The CAVE logo refers to three images at once: the entrance in a cave — the most popular type of housing of the Stone Age; the plan of the object — an integral part of any architectural project; stone — the most commonly used material of that time. Being dynamic, the logo can be enlarged, expanded and become that safe space, outside of which is the surrounding world filled with dangers and risks. The logo has become the basis of the style — all elements are inscribed in its corners, which refers to accuracy and professionalism of the company.
The identity of CAVE is built into a single narrative dedicated to rethinking the heritage of the Neanderthals through current architectural approaches, and carries those values that there were no resources to embody in the Stone Age. The past is blurred, it becomes foggy: how would life of Neanderthals change if the bureau existed at the right time?
