About DAFES AWARDS
We established the international competition program DAFES AWARDS to encourage creative achievements, share experiences and form guidelines for professional development in design, art, fashion, education and business.
DAFES AWARDS is awarded in five profiles, 20 categories and 80 nominations, as well as various partner nominations that we form together with educational and creative institutions.
About the nomination
There are three categories presented in this nomination:
1. Best implementation of a private interior
2. Best implementation of a public interior
3. Best concept of an interior
Conceptual importance, utility, creativity, compliance with the rules and regulations of the State Standard and the overall content of the project will be assessed by the jury.
Terms of participation
Both concepts and projects realized or published between November 1, 2023 and March 15, 2025 are accepted for the professional nominations. Proof of publication/implementation is not required for a project to participate in the competition, but the jury may request confirmation through the competition organizers in disputed cases.
Requirements to projects
A project submitted to the Best private and public interior categories must include:
1. A description of the concept
2. Layout concept
3. Photos of the interior
A project submitted to the Best concept of an interior category must include:
1. Requirements specifications
2. A description of the concept
3. A moodboard
4. Layout concept
5. A visualization of the interior
6. Sketches of the layout
7. A list of furniture and materials used
All projects are submitted to the competition in the format of a longread-format report created on the DAFES platform.
